A year-long program competition for students to create solutions to global issues with workshops & peer mentorship with implementation opportunities.

Opening a chapter in your school

If the innovation council is not established yet, and you would like to establish one at your school, please email us at innovativescholarscouncil@gmail.com, and in the email include the following:

Introduce yourself and your school
Your school's approval system
Number of students interested in your school
Your brief experience, qualifications or resume (if you are interested in being director)
Teacher information supervising this process (cc your teacher in the email)

Joining Individually or Remotely

Students can sign up for different subject departments and development roles, or you can even lead a full team chapter in your school.

When filling in the forms:

Select the "other option' and put in your school name
Write your country if you are not located in Hong Kong
Write [Remote] if you plan to do online initiatives only.
Write [Hybrid] if you plan to do both remote and physical initiatives in Hong Kong or your local community

Similar activities already available, how do we differentiate?

The main thing differentiating us is that we are an official network and council board between schools, with principals, CAS directors, and teachers involved in large-scale decision-making processes. The main objective of this council is not only the program or the workshops, which still contain unique qualities with our credit-based student-led workshops.

We aim to connect students from different schools to come together and create more multi-diverse, unique, and original events consisting of high-quality experiences, benefiting students in both professional and personal aspects.

Our network and resources enable large-scale professional partnerships with enterprises. To avoid duplication, we recruit student directors and teachers from each school to pitch in their voices and gather opinions from variating environments.

Subject Leader Credit System, Time Commitment & Joining Projects

Time commitment is most important during important event/program planning.

As subject leaders, it's only mandatory for you to initiate at least 1-2 workshops throughout the program.

Optional: Students can do more workshops and projects and participate in credit-earning activities, such as giving subject research for the Instagram page. The six students with the highest credits will be able to win leadership and innovative awards at our annual program.

Newly approved projects will be posted on our council's dashboard and students can sign up to participate or help with a project.

Advisory Board

Scientists, Professors, Teachers, Entrepreneurs, Social workers, or any other professional interested in joining the advisory board to support the council or collaborations can briefly email us at innovativescholarscouncil@gmail.com, and we will send you information and an invitation.

Companies, Organizations & Professionals Involved

There are a series of interested partners, and we are looking for more students to join in to bring out the most of our partnerships and to support the implementation of the preplanned projects.

More information will be disclosed to in December. However, there will be a range of social enterprises, companies, NGOs, Startups, and Academic Partners.
